~Me in a Nuttshell~

I have worked for mike and cathy davis on and off since i was about 16 years old,
I've done rides, games, consessions, I have also helped tear down and set up tickets and the office :).... basically i have done almost all of it lol i even got a shot at food manager.... I mainly do cotton candy, which is why the whole crew calls me "cotton candy princess" or CCP. i was annoyed by it at first but then it grew on me i guess.

In 2008 I had a baby boy with my loving husband Patrick, he also works for the Davis' he is their ride supervisor on their big unit, I also got full custody of my 5 year old son!! It was a long and stressful year for us and we ended it very well!! we are hoping that 2009 will bring us lots of great things!! I won't be going out on the road as much, going to be staying home with the kiddos and we hope to see daddy as much as possible!!

carnival a bad place to raise kids?? help me out here!!

okay well I got a message from one of my friends on myspace LOL and this is what she said to me..." a carnival is NO place to raise a baby, you guys are being bad parents!!" Okay well yeah I respect her opinion but how do I explain to somebody that NOT everyone in the carnival is a bad person?? I mean some of my best friends I have met while out on the road!! Like Jim and Debbie Parks from Davis Amusement, they are like make shift parents for me I have known them since I was 14!!
