It's Been a Long time..

I haven't made a web page in 8 years..or whatever they call it now..anyway...this ought to be interesting! My name is Midge..I'm retired,bored and crazy..This page here ought to be fun making..I'll probably go to extremes,can't wait!

I've made many friends on here,you know who you are..True carnies..old school,so to say..So while on this board I, like Gene, am leery of who the hell you are..so if your screen name,or your posts... don't measure up, I will delete you from my friends list..the reason is very simple,no jags allowed...now on with the show!

Have you noticed my mood swings?I've been having them alot lately..and the feeling is NOT good! I need to get a grip! I'm usually not the rude type..what could it be?If you have any,suggestions..keep them to yourself..Oh look! a kitty!....

Being a carny in the 70's..is what I want to talk about next..I broke in the biz in 1968...I was wild,really wild! I enhaled...honest!

I liked my bud,too..it's amazing what you remember,over 30 years ago..not all the shows,some are a blurr,except for Royal..because..money seem to interest me when I was on that show...and I stayed sober,so I could makes lots of it...Minnesota State fair..first year I played it,I slept in a car..those were the days!Cold hose shower..smell of $#^#%$# ..we parked near the cow barns! Ahhhhh....cough,cough....
The smell was..shall we say.. ripe.We stayed parked there the whole spot!Had a 1965,Ford station wagon..we slept in..bought a mattress,at the salvation army,which would never do that now for a million..I use to hitch hike too which was not too smart..Anyway it was worth it! The next spot we had a travel trailer,used,but nice,and payed for...We had to play the next spot for the hitch..but hey..I've always done things backwards!

I would like to discribe a flamer..
A person who constantly starts fights on forums or message boards. Usually with many vulgar statements.Now,when I post on a form,I tell the truth..shoot the breeze..cut up jackpots..have fun..but now the rules have changed..the new me has changed,the name is Toxic Granny,and you are in trouble..
Warriors often underestimate Toxic Granny's fighting abilities. She can be very aggressive, and because of the deference paid to the elderly, not only does Toxic Granny easily attract allies to aid in her defense, but her foes are reluctant to employ their strongest weapons against her. Prudent Warriors avoid confrontations with Toxic Granny because there is ignominy in defeat and no glory in victory!
Looks like they backed down from Granny..I'm not surprised..:)
Only do it when there are 2 or 3..I guess they need back-up..Of course they do..LOL

My husband was a carny,when I met him...I don't talk about him much..he's left the business behind him when we left it years ago..so this being a carny website...is why,I don't say much about him...His agent skills were beyond amazing,played a few flat stores,but loved the buckets,their'd be no one on the midway and he would have 3 or 4 hundred dollars in his apron,and you'd never see him play anyone...quiet fellow..never yelled...I'm still amazed,at his skills..He's still quiet..I'm the only one that can rang him up..and I do a good job at that...

I do believe the entertainment is wearing off,sometimes I like to say hello to a friend,on here,these days it's getting harder and harder to do that,is it not?We find ,slamming,bashing,vulgar language,some dirty pictures,a whole lot of lying,now how is this fun?Give me 3 reasons why this is the way of the future and I'll let this go.. Reasons were explained to me,even though I don't agree..on to another topic..

My daughter,told me yesterday she getting married in June...okey,dokey...more details to come...

I don't get it..why delete posts,and make others look like there talking to themselves...I post for fun..kid around, shoot the breeze,no other reason..entertainment...and maybe along the way I can meet friends ...This is annoying to me...is it a Dr. Jeckle thing?What is it?
I know now,see if this rings a bell..you answer,you get pissed,your answers get ugly..the next day,you reread..you delete..my,my we learn something new,everyday!:)

Good news!..I'll be a Grandma again,this month! I'll post some pictures..it's a boy!
