I was so honored to live and experience the life of a carnie. This was a life altering time. I turned 40 and joined the carnival with a man I was dating (we wanted a change and he was a truck driver). I "quit" EVERY night for the first season but hung in there for five. One does not experience work until they give this a try. Starting out in the popper and ending managing the Midway Grill. Got married on the Midway and within less than a year he vanished into thin air...I finished out the season… Continue
